The Mega Optix “Nano Lens Cleaner Kit” has bee specially formulated for Blue Light Blockers by Mega Optix.

Why did we make our own cleaning kit?

To make our unique lenses as transparent as possible, the layers of coating applied to the lenses had to be as thin as possible. There is a protective layer on top of the blue light blocking layers but to maintain the glasses and get the longest life possible out of them, we put this kit together which will ensure you don’t ever have to test the protective layer.

Lens/Frame cleaning spray:

This unique formulation gently cleans without damaging the coatings that have been applied to the lenses in Mega Optix Blue Light Blockers.

How it works:

We have used the minimal amount of harsh chemicals possible and combined these chemicals with Demin Water (H2O that has gone through reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation), this makes the water super hungry for any minerals it can find, helping it to cling onto any impurities on the surface of your Blue Light Blockers (both lenses and frames). It works a treat! We actually came up with this idea all on our own but it definitly could be useful in other technologies in the future to reduce the use of chemicals.

Because of this, we have made the spray bottle from glass as there is a risk of the formulation extracting phthalates from a normal plastic container. It may be a bit more fragile than a plastic version but it is more sustainable than PP/PS  😉

Nanofiber Cloth:

Also included in the kit is a Mega Optix Nanofiber Cloth. This has a finer thread than a normal microfiber cloth, making it effective removing fine grease without scratching and doesn’t have a bunch of lint balls accumulate on it like other cloths.
